I'll admit it, I'm pretty clumsy, especially with make-up. Any make up that is breakable will eventually get broken if left in my hands, or worse still, in my handbag (of doom).
So you know what gets my goat? Make-up that's broken before I've even had a chance to break it.
Take for example the blush you see before you. Looks pretty broken. Sure, most of the product is still there, it still works fine, but it'll never have the perfect Mac dome it used to. I'd be gutted enough if it was like that because of me, but this travesty isn't even my fault!
I bought this on Brandalley, who I usually love for their bargain-filled flash sales. This was on a make-up flash sale, and I snagged a few Mac goodies for decent prices.
Sadly, this arrived with powder eking from it's edges, and more crumbley than a cookie that's been in my handbag too long (it is the handbag of doom).
Oh well, it's still swatchable, so here we go!
This is Mac's Mineralize Blush in Utterly Game. It's now discontinued, but still available if you know the right places to look (look online) ;)It's a gorgeous colour - a warm matte peach without a hint of shimmer. It adds a subtle peach glow, which isn't at all overt or over the top. It looks like it might veer towards chalky in the pan, but it's actually a very nice effect. You can build it for quite intense colour or keep it sheer.
I've done some looking so you don't have to - find this blush on Strawberry Net for a cool £15.50 HERE.
