I've been:
1. Meeting my friend during the weekend for some breakfast and some wedding details. She's getting married at the beginning of next month and I haven't been much of a help since she lives in Sydney and I'm in Melbourne. She came to pick up her rings and we spent the morning doing the girly talk.
2. Watching a lot of movies and trying to find a point to Vampire Diaries. This is just my opinion, but I find it very cliché and Twilight-ish. So I don't like it. But somehow, I kept watching it. I'm in Season 1, and I put it on every time I'm knitting or sketching some ideas on my notebook. It's like watching Gossip Girl.
3. Reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, just because I said before, I just saw the movie and decided to continue reading the book.
4. Drinking latte's and cappuccinos when I am not supposed to and then feeling sick later. Can't take milk. That's all you need to know. And that I don't learn.
5. Wandering around Melbourne streets and checking some street art (as Melbourne is known for that!). It's been a while since I go out for a walk with my camera so I decided to take a day to go wherever my feet takes me. Sometimes I like walking without a destination.
6. Planning my upcoming trips and expenses. I've decided that this year I need to know Australia. I've been around Sydney, Camberra and I've been almost everywhere in the state of Victoria. But there's still a lot of places to go and since this is my last year I will go to all of those places whenever I find a cheap ticket. And I've also decided that one of those trips I would do it by myself. Let's see how that goes. At the same time, I've decided that next year I'm going to Disney World with my two sisters and my nephew, so we've got some planning to do and a lot of money to save.
7. Talking to both of my sisters. One of them by whatsapp and the other one by skype. Technology, shortening distances! One of them is giving birth this coming thursday (can you believe it? Already! It's time for my sis to pop!). And the other one is starting her last year in uni and searching for a job and getting in all that jazz. I miss them both and I can't wait to be home.
Tomorrow I'll be:
- Starting the gym (I've been waiting to start the gym, I really need it!)
- Meeting up with another friend
- Going to a restaurant I've been wanting to go for a while
What have you been up to?
Have a good start of the week!
