A while ago, while doing my list for the 20 girlie movies post, I ended up with a very long list of approx 60 movies. So I decided to break them down and share them in a series of posts. This is part 2 with another 20 movies I recommend you to watch with the girls or by yourself after a long day at uni / work where you just need to relax and chill out while having dinner. In no particular order ...

1. The Hot Chick.- Hillarious movie with Rob Schnider and Rachel McAdams' (it was her first Hollywood movie). They both switch bodies after using a charmed earring, and now they need to figure out how was the switch done and how to reverse it. And, Adam Sandler makes a cameo (as in all of Rob's movies).

2. 50 First Dates.- Movie with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore where this guy that always tricks girls with different stories now falls in love with this particular girl. But she has a little issue and keeps forgetting him so now he has to make her fall in love with him again. And, as I said before, Rob Schnider acts in this one as well (they tend to appear in their movies).

3. The Sweetest Thing.- You might say this one is a bit old, but it's still funny all the way. The combo of Christina Applegate and Cameron Diaz plus the dumbness of Selma Blair makes this movie inappropriately funny. So if you like piña colada...

4. Juno.- You've got to love Ellen Page's sense of humour! Alright, it might be Diablo Cody's sense of humour but I think Ellen Page did a great Juno and Michael Cero complemented it really great. Part-time lover, full-time friend.

5. Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.- If you can't get over Michael Cera then you have (must!) watch this movie. Their soundtrack is amazing, it's one of my fave movies to watch over and over again, and I love the fact that the whole story is set in just one epic night including a drunk friend, a nasty gum, a very lovely gay group and finding Fluffy in a van and a yellow Yugo. A must.

6. Amelie.- Some might call her a weird girl, but she's a funny charming innocent gal that wants to change the life of everyone that has unconsciously touched hers. And it all happens in oh la la France.

7. Easy A.- I've said it before, I have a girl crush on this girl (Emma Stone) for a while, and this movie made me like her even more. This movie shows the story of how a lie to help a friend turned one girl from being a no-one to being known as the biggest bitch in the entire school. Plus, you get to see Emma Stone singing 'Pocketful of sunshine'.

8. The Wedding Singer.- You've got to love an old comedy! Ok, so Adam's Sandler's recent movies are a big no-no with the worst reviews ever given. But let's go some years ago, they were quite funny. So if you liked Drew and Adam in 50 first dates, then you will have to watch this movie starring both of them. A 90's movie in the 80's ... You spin me round round...

9. Friends with Benefits.- Mila Kunis and JT are hot together. What else can I say? Personally, I liked this one better than number 18.

10. What Happens in Vegas.- Take a control freak and a no-plan guy and put them in the same room together and you'll have disaster. Take them both together in Vegas and you'll get marriage. So what happens the morning after and the days after that when all you want is an annulment but you both share the jackpot? What's mine it's yours?

11. Going the Distance.- Drew Barrymore and Justin Long made this movie together when they were not together any more ... just wondering how awkward that was. But anyway, this two guys meet and they have a fling, but they can't be more than that because she's leaving town soon. So what happens when time to go comes by? In a kind of way I felt attached to the story line... mine didn't end with a guy having a spray tan.

12. Legally Blonde.- My parent's favourite, for real. Dumb blond that wants to prove the world that she can be a lawyer (because of course, she wants to get the 'love of her life'). And well, knowing about perms can make you solve a case. Besides, remember, exercise increases your endorphins. Endorphins makes people happy. Happy people just don't commit murder.

13. Confessions of a Shopaholic.- from one dumb-o to another one... but Isla Fisher is just great in this role! What would you do to get your dream job? Irony of being known as the girl in the green scarf, a goddess in finances, when you own to every single credit card company. Have you been there? Are you a shopaholic?

14. 13 Going on 30.- A guilty pleasure... I used to watch this movie quite frequently during a while, dunno why. Might be Mark Ruffalo. Or the Thriller dance. This movie is about a 13 year old girl who is obsessed with grown up mags, and wants to skip ahead being 13 to be 30 (and now everyone wishes they can go back in time). So, what happens when she realizes she has become that person she wanted to be? Is she happy with her life?

15. The Break-up.- I like this movie because the story is a reverse rom-com. I mean, the title says it all, it's about a break up, a very brutal one in which they both have to keep living in the same apartment. Will they be able to cope with each other and the way they deal with the breakup?

16. A Lot Like Love.- Where would you be in the next 6 years? Will you be the same punk rock chic? Will you have your own business? Will you still be living at your parents house? And, will you keep in touch with that one person you met that one time 6 years ago?

17. Just my Luck.- Thanks to this movie I found out about McFly. It stars a not that troublesome Lindsay Lohan and a nerdier version of Chris Pine, about a lucky girl who one day meets a not that lucky guy, and with a exchange of a kiss they exchange luck. Ok, is not the best plot ever, but I mean, that's the point with these movies. They are a no-brainer to chill out and make you want to have that guy in your life.

18. No Strings Attached.- As I said, this is the same as Friends with Benefits. Boy meets girl, boy befriends girl, boy gets benefits from friendship, one of them suddenly wants more. But I liked the other one better. But that's me.

19. Bride Wars.- Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson made a nice pair in this movie. I liked it, although I wanted to bitch slap Anne and say 'wake up girl!'. Story about two best friends who accidentally get their weddings booked on the same date...

20. The Girl Next Door.- I love this story about a guy and his two best friends from high school, calling their friendship a tripod. If one leg is out, they can't function properly. They need to be there for each other. So what happens when a hot girl with a secret life comes to be the girl next door and brings a little bit of trouble into their lives? Nice story about the end of high school ... What will be the thing you will always remember from high-school?
So as you see, you have a wide range of movies to check on if you feel like staying home because you feel lazy or just on your sweat-pant days. Be sure to check my previous list if you want more options. Enjoy your movies, and have a nice weekend! I sure will (I'm going to Gold Coast!).
