I mentioned in my post on Lord & Berry that I did a Brandalley haul recently...

Along with the Lord & Berry Lip Library, I also purchased the Pixi Lumi Lux Eye Palette!

Like the Lord & Berry Lip Library Collection, this had a mind-boggling amount of colours, and so It's taken me a few days to take on the mammoth task of swatching all of these :P

This palette is called Rosewood, and has lovely rose and peach toned shades. It has so many shades (20 in total!!) I think you'd be hard pushed to find one you didn't like!

First up, the more neutral, peachy shades :)

I'm a little disappointed these shades aren't named, would make it easier to tell you which is which. The swatches follow the palette image, going from left to right, dark to light.

These are very very pretty shades, but unfortunately not hugely pigmented at all. They fall down hard on the side of sheer, shimmer shades, and the swatches in the picture have literally been built up and built up to get  to that colour level. I think it goes quite well with the brand, you know, Pixi, so sheer shimmery fairy-like shades :P Can be a little frustrating though, when you love the actual *colour* of the shade, but can't get it to show up on your lid.

Now the darker, rosier shades :)

Unfortunately I'm a bit of an eejit, and got muddled in the direction the shades were meant to go >.< So these ones are going in the opposite direction. Hopefully it's easier to tell which way these are going as there's only one blue shade :)

These are a little more pigmented, and some of these have a really gorgeous creamy finish. I especially like the middle shades in the second set of swatches!

Overall, this is a very pretty palette, and I personally like the colours and finish, but despite the massive number of shades I wouldn't say this was a comprehensive shade selection at all! No variety of finishes, or even colours really! I'm happy though, as I like these sorts of shades and finishes, so having a lot of them isn't a problem for me :)

This retails for £25 normally, and is available at Boots, or for £16.90 at Oz Cosmetics (although I've never used this discounted make-up site, so can't vouch for them!).

I got this on a flash sale at Brandalley for £10 though! Bargain hunter extraordinaire me :D

On another note, are all the UK peeps getting excited for the Jubilee Weekend?? I'm going to be in Ireland visiting family for it, so will miss all the London excitement, gutted :(
