Next up in my series on the London Coffee Festival - Sweet Treats!!

First up, The Collective Dairy:

I got a sample of the Cherry Pomegranate yogurt from The Collective Dairy's stall, and it was gorrrrgeous. I don't even like yogurt, but this was smooth and creamy and oh-so-delicious. Big thumbs up.

The four flavours they had out were Luscious Lemon, Cherry + Pomegranate, Passion Fruit, and Russian Fudge. My friend tried the Russian Fudge, and from the faces she was pulling, really really liked it.

Their passion is 'providing you with the greatest dairy imaginable, no bull!', and their yogurt is probiotic, vegetarian, gluten free, artificial preservative free, and handcrafted. Tasty guilt-free treats? Yes please.

Bird Nest Pistachio Baklava (shredded wheat, pistachio, sugar syrup)

Bourma Almond Baklava (shredded wheat, almond, sugar syrup)

We ended up loitering around the Baklava stand from Persis for ages too, which just looked incredible. My friend bought a box to give to her boyfriend who loves Baklava. She says it was really good baklava (she's from Bulgaria, and apparently they're baklava experts over there, so for her to say it's good is a big compliment).
Unfortunately my sister has a really severe nut allergy, so I always feel bad buying anything with nuts, just incase she manages to come into contact with one through me.

Lucky's Luxury Chocolate from Wonderland.

Now these were something special. They're chocolate filled with cake. That's right, you heard me. Chocolates. Filled. With. Cake.

'I've never tried a chocolate that tastes like cake!' - thought Alice.

These are descibed as 'tiny pieces of wonderland', and I was lucky enough to try the Honey Time cakes...

'Tingles the senses with spiced honey cake treats that come in a variety of flavours, each one as magical as the next'

...and the Mad Hatter Bar

'Exquisite Mad Hatter Bar chocolates filled with 70% cocoa brownie in insanely delicious flavours.'

These larger bars are £5.50, and look fairly substantial.
They also do a range of smaller chocolates filled with cakes that look incredible and are only £1.70 a pop. Although I would probably pop my way through £500's worth in one sitting.

Seriously, have a look on their site, there is some serious food porn going on there.

Register for free on their site and you'll get a 15% discount, plus a weekly newsletter - although I don't know what getting a weekly newsletter filled with info about chocolate and cake would do to my figure :/

This was a cute little stall from Peppersmith

These guys use:

- High quality real Mint

and

- No Artificial Flavours
- No Artificial Preservatives
- No Synthetic Gum Base
- No Aspartame or Intense Sweeteners
- No Animal Derivatives (so all their products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans)

They've also been accredited by the British Dental Health Foundation for being great for teeth!

Their chewing gun is here and have a look at the Fish & Chips flavour coming soon!! Crazy!

These guys are stocked in loads of places, so keep an eye out! If you can't find them though, their Online shop sells them £8 for 6 packs, or £15 for 12. This seems a little steep for gum, but considering most cheaper brands use synthetic rubbers like polyisobutylene, which is the same stuff used to make inner tubes and basketballs, it might be worth paying the extra for Peppersmith...
Peppersmith don’t like the idea of chewing on plastics and oil so they use chicle instead.
It’s natural, helps protect the Rainforest and does not contain any nasty synthetic ingredients.

Like most organic, natural brands, the price is a little higher, but you can take the moral high ground, and feel better about what you're chewing on too!

I tried the Sicilian Lemon-Peppermint flavour, and can highly recommend it. After a few hours of sampling various foods, cakes, sweets, and drinks, these were a welcome palate cleanser!

I was really happy to see a stall from Fudge Kitchen too, as they have a much-loved shop in York, my University City!!!

I'd already been in the shop in York, many, many, many times for samples and fudge, but I couldn't help going over to have another look. Ah, memories of eating fudge in the streets of York :D

They have loads of flavours, and the lovely man behind the stall, Patch, who btw has been making fudge for the past 15 years, was really happy to give me some tasters and tell me about the company!

I tried Mocha Choca LatteChocolate Classic, and a flavour not on the website, Sea Salted Caramel.

I think Sea Salted Caramel was my favourite, although all were delicious. Really rich and creamy. They sell them in boxes at £16 for 4 massive slices, but I'm usually waning around halfway through one!!

Over at the Molly Bakes stall, these Rose and Pistachio Whoopie Pies caught my eye.
Don't they look gorgeous?
They also make Cake Pops which are cakes on sticks, sometimes in the shape of people, like Lady Gaga, or The Queen. They look absolutely mad and completely delicious.

Whoopie Pie with Buttercream :9
You may be able to tell I have something of a sweet tooth, as the vast majority of my pictures were of sweets and cakes >.<

Hope you enjoy the food pron guys!!
