Continuing with the drugstore theme I've got going on, I present for your delectation dear Readers, three MaxFactor Lipfinity Lip Colours!
Jump!
Lipfinity (Up to 12 hour long-lasting lipstick) is a range from MaxFactor that I'm sure most of you have heard of. If you haven't heard of them, I'm telling you now, these are wonder lipsticks. The 12-hour long-lasting tagline isn't some made up figure, this stuff genuinely stays on your lips that long.
It comes with a bottle of lip colour, which you apply with a sponge applicator, and a clear balm, which you apply on top after the lip colour has set. You need this balm, as without it, your lips will feel really strange (all dry, and like the lip colour is peeling off)
Max Factor says:
Make-up artists know that perfect lip colour doesn't mean constant touch-ups. Armed with Max Factor's famous Lipfinity you can have the glamorous finish you love without letting life get in the way.
The secret? A smart 2-step application that creates catwalk long lasting colour then finish the effect with a moisturising gloss top coat. Now with 24 high-fashion shades to choose from and a sleek new look, the best kept backstage beauty secret from Max Factor is officially out!

I kid you not, this genuinely does what it says on the tin.
I've only done one lip swatch for these, as it was such a nightmare getting the first one off. That's one thing to keep in mind when applying this - once it's on, it's on for the forseeable future.
The first shade is 110 Passionate, and it is a beautiful orangey red. Pigmentation is not an issue with these lip colours, and you can build up layers to get the intensity you want. A nice thing is that you don't compromise on lipcolour for long lasting-ness. The colours in this range are genuinely all beautiful. One downfall is that applying these is a little hard. For me, personally, I find it difficult to get perfectly straight application, and any wobble is always quite noticeable (and often not correctable!).
I have another two shades, 010 Whisper, and...erm...oh dear...was going through my makeup, and seems I may have made an accidental repurchase. I thought there was a reason I loved this colour so much in the shop.
Now, honestly, the older tube of this colour has had the number rubbed off, so I'm not 100% they're the same shade. Here are the swatches with them side by side, they seem pretty similar...
What do you guys think? Have I accidentally repurchased? Gutted :/
On another note, I wanted to show you some pictures of this stuff in action. On the left is a picture of me at an event wearing 110 Passionate. The picture on the right is after the evening was over. I applied the colour at 8:30pm, and the second picture was taken at 1am, after pre-drinks, a three course meal, and a casino night. I did not reapply once. Obviously it is a little worn-off, but c'mon, that's a fair effort from a lippie. And it clung on for dear life when I tried to get it off before going to bed!
