Anyone who knows me will guess immediately how up my street the new limited edition Tinkerbell-themed make-up range from Pixi is!
Anything involving fairies and I'm sold basically.

I'll admit, I did buy this palette solely on the basis of looks/fairyness, but I'm glad I did as it does not disappoint...

Jump!

The palette itself is really sturdy and feels like good-quality, considering it's made from plastic. I absolutely love the design (although you can see in the picture it's already started to wear off! Boo).

It's currently available on Asos at £32.

On Asos it says:

This palette was inspired by budding roses, berry nectars and dew on the lawn, and features a collection of natural, pigmented, flattering colours, including 5 shimmer shot baked eyeshadows, five lip colours from a soft pink to a rich berry hue, and a three part blusher for a flush of colour.

When you open the palette up you get this:

Five eyeshadows and five lip colours, with a lip brush and eyeshadow brush. To be honest, the brushes are pretty standard, and like most that come in a palette - you're not going to use these over your regular brushes.
The eyeshadows and lip colours themselves are gorgeous though. The eyeshadows are beautifully sheer and flattering, and the lip colours are surprisingly creamy and pigmented.

The eyeshadows and lip colours aren't individually named which is a shame - I'd have loved some Tink-themed eyeshadow names!

These swatches are done over primer, and are swatched heavily to demonstrate the different shades more clearly. When worn, the shades are much more sheer.
The colours go together beautifully, and I've worn all five shades on my lids before to great effect.

The lip colours are really creamy and opaque, and wear surprisingly well. They have a kind-of YSL Rouge Volupte creaminess going on, so I assumed the wear time would be the same (i.e. one hour, if that).

These lasted quite a while on me though, and actually left a bit of a stain. I'm a lip licker (gross, I know), so lip products just disappear on me.

The shade in the middle is my favourite, I love a nude lip creme, I do I do~~~

If you slide the eyeshadow and lip colour drawers apart you get to the blusher and brush:
The brush is quite nice, and I've been using this occasionally instead of my BellaPierre one.

The blush is a flattering peachy-pink shade, with a lot of shimmer running through it.
I personally love me some shimmer, but if you're not a fan I'd be light handed with this blush. When worn with the eyeshadows the overall effect is really pretty, all shimmery light pinks which give a really awake look :)

All shades swirled together
Three shades individually swatched

This palette is my new staple for Spring, with the pinks and light shimmer being perfect for the brighter weather!

More reviews on this collection to follow. I'm on a mission to collect everything in this set...
